When Jim purchased this home a number of years ago he fell in love with the views and energy of its open plan layout. He felt it would be ideal for peaceful retreats and connecting friends and family and so the idea of turning it into an Airbnb was born.

The Experience

Set in the scenic surroundings of rural Ireland, the home’s riverside location adds a calm, almost cinematic backdrop to the stay. Views from the conservatory and garden connect guests directly to nature, while outdoor spaces with seating and a barbecue extend the experience beyond the house itself. How many people can stay in the Airbnb?

The house has 6 bedrooms plus the living room space for overflow. We can accommodate 19 as follows: 5 Bedrooms have double beds sleeping 10. The 6th Bedroom has a double/single Bunk bed plus a pull out sofa bed sleeping 5 in total. We have the ability to provide 4 more sleeping spaces with a double sofa bed in the living room plus 2 single camp beds.

What is the layout of the living space in the Airbnb?

The house has a large open plan living room with dining table area ideal for a party and entertaining. There is also a fully fitted kitchen and dining area in the kitchen. The living room connects to the decking outside where you can relax in the hot tub and enjoy the views. The space provides a natural flow between all rooms and keeps everyone connected whatever the occasion.

Can small kids stay in the Airbnb?

We welcome children and we also provide a Childs cot and High Chair for your convienience.

Do you provide Glassware, Plates and Utensils for cooking?

Yes we have a fully fitted kitchen with all the equipment you could require to cook for 19 people.

How to get to the Airbnb from Dublin?

From the M50 take the Kilkenny M9 Motorway until you are at the roundabout before the Iconic Thomas Francis Meagher suspension bridge. Take the road to Limerick and using Eircode X91 N6Y7 you will reach the airbnb.

How to get to the Airbnb from Cork?

Follow the N25 Road to Waterford. Take the exit for Dublin and follow the Limerick road exit at the roundabout. Using Eircode X91 N6Y7 you will reach the airbnb.

How far are you from Tramore Beach

The beautiful Tramore beach is just 20 minutes away

How far is the nearest supermarket, pharmacy or takeaway

Mooncoin is just 5 minutes away. It has a large Centra supermarket, pharmacy and local take away.

Do you allow pets?

We dont allow pets unfortunately

Can I book directly with you?

Yes you can book directly with us right here on our website. Our site is integrated with Airbnb, Booking.com and other platforms.

Can I book on Airbnb?

We also provide the option to book with us on booking.com Again some people feel more comfortable when booking through a large platform. Search for Suir River House.

Do you offer long-term bookings?

We can accommodate up to 2 weeks booking and guests frequently book for a week for family holidays.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 14 days notice prior to cancellation.

What is your Check in / Check out time?

Check in is at 3pm and check out is 11am

Yes we always love to meet and greet our guests showing all the elements of the house, how to operate the hot tub, oven, heating etc.
